As the world watches the chaos of 2020 spread rapidly across the world we are unsure how to handle it. Furthermore this pandemic has caused consumers to inexplicably buy all the toilet paper amongst other things. So I started thinking about making a vegan non perishable foods list. Nevertheless, it looks like many of us might be spending more time at home in the upcoming weeks. If you’re wondering what’s the best non perishable food items to stock up on, keep scrolling! So what is a non perishable food?

  1. Canned beans

Canned beans are a smart and cheap non perishable vegan item to have. There is a wide variety of beans as well. Some of my favorites include chickpeas, white beans, and vegetarian refried bean.

Lentils are another great vegan pantry item that you can stock up on. It’s packed with plant protein and fiber. You can use it to make veggie patties, sliders, soups, and more.

When Chia Seeds are stored properly in the pantry they have a shelf like of a minimum of 2 years. In the refrigerator chia seeds can last over 4 years. Chia seeds are packed with protein, fiber, and calcium. Also manganese, magnesium, and Phosphorus. And zinc, vitamin B3, and potassium.

15. Hemp Seeds

Raw hemp seeds unopened have a shelf life of 24 months. Hemp seeds are packed with plant protein. Also potassium, magnesium, and Phosphorus. They are packed with calcium and low in carbohydrates.
