This crock pot oatmeal recipe with apples has simple healthy ingredients. When using a slow cooker for oatmeal your recipe is so flavorful. You only need 7 ingredients for slow cooker oatmeal. The ingredients include 3 cups oatmeal, 3 cups chopped green apples, 1/2 cup sugar of your choice.

You also need 2 tbsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp nutmeg, 2 tsp vanilla extract, and 6 cups soy milk or milk of your choice for this crock pot oatmeal recipe. The directions for vegan slow cooker recipes are simple as well.

First chop up 3 cups worth of green apples with the skin on. I used about 6 small Granny Smith apples. Then plug in your crock pot and turn it on high. It should be on high heat for vegan slow cooker recipes.

Next, combine all the ingredients inside the crock pot. Stir with a large spoon and allow to cook for about 2 hours. Once every 45 minutes to an hour, stir oatmeal mixture with the large spoon again. My toddler loves this vegan oatmeal recipe too which is great!
