Easy Sautéed Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Easy Sautéed Brussels Sprouts Recipe

Most kids and even some adults hate brussels sprouts and those who don’t, just find recipes for sauteed brussels sprouts to be boring. But let me tell you, this one is not. There is more to this than just cut up vegetables and oil. It has a fun and savory flavor that even my kids love. Honestly, it is super easy and takes less than 15 minutes to make.

To create this recipe for sauteed Brussel sprouts, you will need 2 cups sliced Brussels sprouts 2 tbsp olive oil 2 tsp ginger paste 2 tsp garlic paste along with 1/2 cup diced onions 3/4 cup corn kernels 1 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp hemp seeds 1 tsp paprika and 1 tsp red chili flakes for a little bit of spice.  Once you have gathered all of your ingredients, it is time to get started!

Vegan Vegetable Side Dishes Are My Favorite

To kick off this recipe for sauteed Brussel sprouts you will need to combine the oil, ginger paste, garlic paste, and soy sauce in the pan and then whisk until it has a smooth consistency. I’d advise tasting the mixture before you put it into a saucepan that is set to medium-low heat. After that, toss in the diced onions and sauté until it is golden brown in color. Following the golden brown onions, toss in the brussels sprouts and stir thoroughly. Once done string, place a lid onto the saucepan and allow it to cook for six minutes.

After the vegetables are cooked, stir in the corn kernels and season with paprika and red chili flakes. Once you have done this, put the lid back on for two minutes. To top of this vegetarian recipe sprinkle with hemp seeds and serve. These last couple of steps are what truly make this recipe for sauteed brussel sprouts stand out. If you are someone who does not like spicy food, I would recommend not to add in the red chili flakes.
