Healthy air fryer mushrooms are the perfect low calorie plant based snack or salad topping. Mushrooms are very low in calories and carbohydrates. Additionally they provide vitamins and minerals.

Dried vegetables are so easy to make

All you need to make mushrooms in air fryer include 2 cups sliced mushrooms, 3 tbsp vegetable broth, or aquafaba. You also need some seasonings! I like to use 1/2 tbsp salt, 1/2 tbsp pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, and1 tsp onion powder.

You can use any seasonings you prefer for dried mushrooms recipe. Healthy air fryer mushrooms recipe is so simple to make. In a medium mixing bowl combine mushrooms and vegetable broth (or aquafaba) and toss it around.

Sprinkle the seasonings over the mushrooms in the mixing bowl. Toss it around again to evenly distribute seasoning. Turn the air fryer on to 400 degrees F. Then turn the timer to 12-15 minutes. Dried mushrooms are a great snack for in between meals, they go great in salads, and in pastas and soups.
