Ingredients for green tea smoothie recipe include 2 cups almond milk, 2 tbsp fresh lime juice, and 2 tbsp fresh grated ginger root. You can buy pre cut or slice it yourself
Additionally you need 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, 2 tbsp matcha, and 2 tsp stevia optional. Raw ginger provides protein, vitamin B6, magnesium, and manganese. That’s why I put it in this matcha smoothie recipe.
Instructions for this matcha smoothie are so easy. In a medium mixing bowl combine a splash or two of the almond milk, matcha, and ginger. Whisk vigorously until thoroughly combined
Then add 1 more cup of the almond milk and whisk again. Pour liquid mixture into an ice tray and freeze for minimum of 4 hours. Combine matcha/ginger ice cubes and remaining 1 cup of almond milk in blender and blend until slushie and frosty. Top with fresh mint leaves and stir around with a spoon.
