Healthy Pudding Bon Bons Recipe

This Healthy Pudding Bon Bons Recipe is crazy good. Bon Bons are crazy delicious and fun to eat! This vegan dessert is actually a bit healthier than other types because the filling is made with oatmeal purée.

That’s right! Oatmeal purée pudding pie filling concoction. Whatever you think the proper title of this Bon Bon filling just know it’s so tasty. This vegan dessert is one of my favorites.

Vanilla pudding mix by Jello is 100% vegan and delicious for this healthy Vegan Bon Bons Recipe. I used the sugar free version but that’s an optional choice.

Oatmeal is so versatile. I’ve been experimenting with oatmeal as an ingredient in so many different cakes and desserts lately. I’ve yet to be disappointed.You have to try this delicious vegan dessert!

Crushed oats become oatmeal and ground oats become flour. Oats can also be rolled or made into porridge. The common oat is a popular ingredient in baked goods like cookies, muffins, and bread. It also makes a great vegan dessert ingredient.

Oats are packed with many essential nutrients. They are high in protein, fiber, vitamins, and more. Which is why they are so great in this Healthy vegan dessert.

Look Who Loved the Bon Bons!

Let me tell you all about why I love oatmeal in vegan desserts. Oats themselves are a plant based whole food. Therefore it’s a healthier less processed ingredient than flour.

I love replacing regular flour with oatmeal. You can’t even grind them down further into oat flour in a food processor. It’s a healthy bon bon recipe ingredient.

However what I like to do is simply soak them for a period of time before adding the other ingredients. Then bake accordingly. Vegan baked goods made with oats and oatmeal are easy, healthy, and gluten-free.

Healthy Pudding Bon Bons

Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Quick oats oatmeal Dry
  • 1 Oz White chocolate pudding mix Jello brand IS vegan
  • 1 Cup Dairy free dark chocolate chips for baking

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Plant milk
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Soak quick oats oatmeal in plant milk for 30-40 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Use a blender or food processor to turn oatmeal in a purée.
  3. Pour oatmeal Into medium mixing bowl. Add pudding mix and whisk thoroughly.
  4. then set in freezer to chill for 20 minutes or so in order to harden enough to scoop into balls and hold shape. 
  5. Scoop into balls and set out on parchment lined tray. Set back into freezer for 30 minutes or so. 
  6. Melt chocolate chips in microwave.

  7. Roll oatmeal pudding balls into melted chocolate and back onto tray.
  8. Set into refrigerator until chocolate hardens.
