This vegan ice cream recipe uses real fresh fruit and coconut cream. It’s important to make sure the fruit is thoroughly frozen before making the recipe. That’s because freezing the fruit is how you avoid churning.

In fact you can make this no churn ice cream in a food processor or blender. Frozen blueberries and frozen bananas are the best fruit for vegan ice cream. Other fruit that freezes well includes mango, blackberries, and raspberries.

You only need a few simple dairy free ingredients to make this vegan ice cream recipe. The ingredients include 2 cups frozen blueberries, 1 frozen banana, and 1 cup full fat canned coconut milk. You will also need 1 cup of sugar or the sweetener of your choice

It’s preferable for you to freeze the blueberries and banana the night before for no churn ice cream. The easiest way to freeze the banana is to peel it and cut it in slices then put the slices in a zip lock bag. You can even add the blueberries in the same bag if it’s big enough.

It’s also important to make sure the can of coconut milk is thoroughly chilled in the refrigerator as well. The combination of frozen fruit with refrigerated coconut milk creates the perfect soft serve ice cream texture for your vegan ice cream recipe.

All you have to do is combine the fruit, coconut milk, and sugar in a food processor or blender. Blend it until it’s thoroughly combined and smooth. The no churn ice cream should be a nice soft serve texture.
