Spicy Air Fryer Asparagus Recipe
This spicy air fryer asparagus recipe is the perfect plant based snack or side dish. My family and I love asparagus and it’s really healthy too. Asparagus in the air fryer is easy, healthy, and delicious. Interestingly, asparagus is found in one of the oldest surviving recipes known to mankind!

You only need a few simple ingredients to make this spicy air fryer asparagus recipe. All you need is about 12 asparagus spears
1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp chipotle powder seasoning, or seasoning of your choice. It’s also helpful to use non stick cooking spray in the air fryer basket.
Start making asparagus in the air fryer by cutting the bottoms off the asparagus spears. Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with non stick cooking spray. Place the asparagus spears flat in the air fryer basket, ensure they are not overlapping
Sprinkle the asparagus evenly with the seasoning. Set the temperature to 350 degrees F. Cook them for 10 minutes. The asparagus will be fully cooked, however if you like them a little more crispy, cook for another 5 minutes.

- 10 Whole Asparagus Spears
- 1 Tsp Chipotle powder seasoning
- ½ Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp olive oil
cut the bottoms off the asparagus spears
Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with non stick cooking spray
Drizzle with olive oil and place the asparagus spears flat in the air fryer basket, ensure they are not overlapping
Sprinkle the asparagus evenly with the seasoning
Set the temperature to 350 degrees F
Cook for 10 minutes
The asparagus will be fully cooked, however if you like them a little more crispy, cook for another 5 minutes
