Do you sweet potato chocolate chip donuts are a healthy treat recipe. That’s healthy Vegan dessert it’s quick and easy to make and uses nutritious ingredients like sweet potatoes. I love the flavor combination of chocolate sweet potato cinnamon and nutmeg.
Are you need to make vegan sweet potato donuts with chocolate chips is flour, dairy free chocolate chips, and sugar. You also need baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Additionally you owe me not me, soy milk, and sweet potato purée.
More ingredients you need for this vegan dessert includes bananas, vegan butter, and maple syrup for topping. In order to make the cooked sweet potato purée simply bring a medium pot of water to a boil. And cook two medium sweet potatoes for 20 to 30 minutes until you can poke through them with a fork and they are soft.
Remove the sweet potatoes from the pot of water and allow to rest until they are cool enough to touch. Then simply remove the potato skin easily with your fingers and measure out one cup. Start making the vegan donut batter by combining all the dry ingredients except the chocolate chips and a medium mixing bowl and whisk.
Blend the bananas and cooked sweet potato purée on its own then combine that with the remaining wet ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and continue to work until thoroughly combined.
Lastly add the chocolate chip into the batter and mix them thoroughly with a large spoon. Then preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease to six count nonstick donut pan and fill them 3/4 of the way full. Then bake a vegan sweet potato doughnut for 12 minutes. Drizzle them with maple syrup if you like or make a powder sugar glaze.

combine all dry ingredients not including the chocolate chips and a medium mixing bowl and whisk
Blend the bananas and cooked Sweet potato purée
Combine the purée and all the remaining wet ingredients in a separate mixing bowl and whisk until thoroughly combine
Slowly add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk thoroughly
Now add in the chocolate chips and stir them into the batter until they are thoroughly distributed
Preheat the oven to 350°F
Spray to six count donut pan with nonstick cooking spray or grease however you want
Fill up the donut trays 3/4 the way full
Bake them for 12 minutes
