Air Fryer Shishito Peppers Recipe

Air Fryer Shishito Peppers Recipe

Air Fryer Shishito Peppers Recipe

I really love this air fryer shishito pepper recipe. They’re savory and crispy with a little pop of heat. You can eat them as a healthy snack or side dish with soup, rice, or in a salad. They’re really good with some salt and sesame seeds.

This shishito peppers recipe is low in carbs and calories. Shishito peppers are an East Asian sweeter pepper whose wrinkled surface resembles ground cherries. You should remove the seeds and guts also because it’s very spicy. Additionally they’re healthy, vegan, and plant based.

I love making air fryer recipes because it creates a crispy texture without using oil. Just use a little non stick cooking spray to spray the basket. These peppers are small and slender like a finger. Their walls are thin and turns from green to red when opened.

When I make this shishito peppers recipe I remove the seeds even though only about one out of every eight peppers is spicy. Spiciness depends on external factors such as exposure to sunlight and stressors.

You only need a few easy ingredients to make this vegan plant based snack. The ingredients include 1 cup shishito peppers, 1/2 tbsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, 1 tbsp sesame seeds. Furthermore you can add any seasoning you like. Garlic powder and dried onion flakes are a tasty addition

Start making your shishito peppers recipe by cutting the shishito peppers in half and removing the seeds/guts and rinse them. Set your air fryer to a temperature of 400 degrees F. Air fryer recipes with vegetables are super simple to make.

Next, spray the basket with non stick cooking spray (I like olive oil flavor). Toss your shishito peppers inside the air fryer basket and disperse them evenly. Sprinkle your shishito peppers recipe with the seasoning and seeds

Close the basket and cook for 5 minutes then open the basket and flip the peppers around. Cook your air fryer recipe again for another 3 minutes. This  shishito peppers recipe is gluten free and vegan.

Vegan Air Fryer Lentil Sliders Recipe

Vegan Air Fryer Lentil Sliders Recipe

Vegan air fryer lentil sliders recipe

These vegan air fryer lentil sliders are the perfect plant based recipe for spring BBQs, picnics, and parties. Additionally they are the best homemade veggie burger recipe. I made these for my omnivore loved ones and they devoured them! Furthermore they’re cheap to make, plant based, and environmentally friendly. Lentils are a very nutritious and affordable legume.

This vegan lentil recipe is very affordable to make. Lentils are a very healthy plant based protein as well. Lentils provide protein, fiber, calcium, and vitamin C. They also contain iron, vitamin B6, and magnesium. Lentils are one of the healthiest legumes. That’s why these vegan sliders are so good for you.

At first I thought to use almond flour for this easy veggie burger recipe, but I was out of that ingredient. That’s when I realized I had an unopened box of croutons! Croutons are perfect for vegan sliders because they’re already seasoned and flavorful. Furthermore, croutons are crunchier than flour, which I find delicious. Not all croutons are vegan, so make sure you read the ingredients. Many croutons contains cheese or dairy of some kind.

It’s true that the majority of croutons are not vegan, so you’ll have to find a specifically vegan brand for this vegan lentil recipe. Vegan brands of croutons include Fresh Gourmet Organic Seasoned Croutons, Kelly’s Gourmet Cheezy Croutons, and Carrington Farms Organic Crouton.

This veggie burger recipe is so simple to make

All you need to make vegan air fryer lentil sliders is 1 cup lentils dry, 2 cups water, and 1 cup croutons of your choice. Vegan brands of croutons include: Fresh Gourmet Organic Seasoned Croutons, Kelly’s Gourmet Cheezy Croutons, and Carrington Farms Organic Crouton. One of my favorite croutons are Fresh Gourmet Organic Seasoned Croutons.

Other ingredients for this vegan lentil recipe includes 1 tbsp olive oil but can replace with vegetable broth for oil free. You will also need 1/2 cup almond milk and 1 tsp salt. Due to the fact that croutons already contain seasoning I didn’t add more than 1 tsp salt. However you can season the veggie patties to your taste. You can season your patties however you like.

The directions for this easy veggie burger recipe are so simple as well. First, use a medium to large cooking pot to cook 1 cup lentils in 2 cups water. Boil the lentils for approximately 10 to 12 minutes, stir occasionally.

Next, remove heat and allow lentils to cool off for at least 10 minutes. Then, in a food processor or blender combine croutons and lentils and blend until thoroughly combined. Add 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 cup milk, and 1 tsp salt into the food processor also, and blend again until thoroughly combined.

The easy vegan lentil slider “dough” should be thick and slightly sticky. Next,  roll the lentil “dough” into 8 evenly sized balls. Line your air fryer basket with foil. Space out the lentil slider balls on the foil. Next, set your air fryer to 350 degrees F.

This spicy air fryer asparagus recipe is the perfect plant based snack or side dish. My family and I love asparagus and it’s really healthy too. Asparagus in the air fryer is easy, healthy, and delicious. Interestingly, asparagus is found in one of the oldest surviving recipes known to mankind!

Air fryer recipes are amazing because they don’t need oil and crisp up so delightfully. An air fryer is a countertop kitchen appliance like a toaster oven or waffle maker.

Asparagus in the air fryer is so healthy. It is low in calories and rich in protein and fiber. Asparagus provides vitamin A, thiamine, and riboflavin. Also vitamin K, calcium, iron, and a variety of other nutrients. I love make asparagus in my air fryer because they get a crispy outer texture like French fries.

This vegan side dish is so simple to make

Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries

I love making these air fryer sweet potato fries. They are perfectly sweet and salty. Not to mention crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. My whole family loves to eat this vegan side dish

Air fryer recipes are amazing because they don’t need oil and crisp up so delightfully. An air fryer is a countertop kitchen appliance like a toaster oven or waffle maker. It circulates hot air around food in order to cook it. Most air fryers come in a two-liter to six-liter capacity and can cost anywhere from $70 to $200 depending on the model.

Yams make the best plant based side dish because these are so nutritious. They contain simple starches, complex carbs, and dietary fiber. Additionally they contain beta-carotene which is a pro vitamin A carotenoid. Everyone will love this family friendly vegan recipe.

Air fryer sweet potato fries also contain vitamin B5, vitamin B6, and Manganese. They also provide vitamin C, calcium, iron, and zinc. These are just some of the reasons why this air fryer recipe is healthy and delicious.

This plant based side dish is so easy to make

Air Fryer Sweet Potato Fries Recipe

You only need 4 or 5 simple ingredients to make this air fryer sweet potato fries. Ingredients include 1 medium sweet potato, 1 tbsp coconut oil (optional), and 1/2 tbsp salt. Also 1 tsp black pepper and 1 tsp nutmeg.

The directions are so easy as well. First, use a vegetable peeler to remove the sweet potato skin. Unless you like the skin then leaving it on it fine. Next, cut your sweet potato into approximately 1/4 inch thick French fries (size does not have to be perfect, just do your best to make them similar in size so they cook evenly)

In a medium to large mixing bowl add the sweet potato fries, melted coconut oil (optional) and seasoning, and toss. The best way to make the sweet potato fries evenly cooked and crispy is to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer basket.

Spray the air fryer basket with non stick cooking spray (optional but helps to avoid sticking to the basket and for easier removal). This delicious plant based snack is easy, gluten free, and paleo!

Next, spread out an even layer of sweet potato fries in the air fryer basket. Cook at 375 degrees for about 8 minutes then use a spatula to flip the fries over. Cook again for another 5 to 8 minutes until thoroughly cooked and crispy. If they still seem a little soft or uncooked try cooking for another 3 to 5 minutes in the air fryer. These sweet potato French fries are great for kids and adults alike!
