
Tempeh Hemp Seed “Meat” Plant Protein Recipe

Ingredients
- 13 oz brick of tempeh
- 1/4 cup hemp seeds
- 1/4 cup white onion chopped
- 1 clove Garlic chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
Instructions
To prep: crumble up tempeh with your hands, and chop up onions and garlic
In a large frying pan combine onion, garlic, and oil
Bring to a heat and cook until onions and garlic start to brown
Toss in crumbled tempeh and hemp seeds and stir with large spoon or spatula
Add all spices to frying pan and mix again to evenly distribute seasonings
Remove heat (total cook time should come to approximately 12-15 minutes)
