This Lemon Poppy Sweet Bread Recipe is easy and delicious!
For The Sweet Bread
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Coconut sugar
- 3 tbsp poppy seeds
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1.25 cups plant milk ex. Soy milk , almond milk, coconut milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 2 tbsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp orange extract
for the glaze
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 3 tbsp plant Based milk
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
For The Bread
preheat oven to 375 degrees F
In a medium mixing bowl combine all dry ingredients and whisk
In a separate bowl combine all wet ingredients and blend
Add wet to dry and slowly blend. Don’t over do it.
Grease and/or line bread pan with parchment paper
Pour batter into pan and bake for 45 minutes
allow to rest for 1 hour

In a medium mixing bowl combine all ingredients and whisk as fast as possible until powder becomes sticky glaze
