Ingredients

  • 2 Heads Cabbage, chopped
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped white onion
  • 2 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp Ground ginger
  • 1/2 tbsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp crushed peppercorn 
  • 1/2 tsp black garlic powder 
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil on medium heat in a large cooking pot.

  2. Sauté the onions and garlic until the start to brown then whisk in the ginger paste and seasonings too.

  3. Immediately pour in all the vegetable broth , stir, and bring it to a simmer.

  4. Next, add in the cabbage and carrots then reduce the heat to medium and place the lid on the pot. 

  5. Cook the recipe for cabbage soup diet for 12 minutes then remove the heat before the cabbage becomes over cooked. 

  6. Allow the cabbage soup recipe to cool for 5 minutes then serve.
